Since healthcare professionals can often become like part of a patient’s family, their grief at the end of a patient’s life can feel extremely personal. Dealing with death is never easy but it is ok to ask for help. Our trainers show you how to recognise signs that you are experiencing loss, how to notice this in others, and how to maintain your emotional resilience and wellbeing.
This course will help you to understand natural responses to loss; to process your thoughts and feelings, so that you can better care for yourself.
Who is this course for?
Health and social care professionals, and support and care workers from all settings where patients, clients and residents are approaching end of life.
