Where is it?Hospice in the Weald
Maidstone Road, Pembury.
Learn about the seven core principles to support dignity, including recognising the uniqueness of every individual and their needs, communicate with patients/residents in a way that is meaningful to them and recognising the need to challenge care that may reduce the dignity of a patient or resident.
You will also look at the importance of providing dignified care to all patients, but in particular, those at the end of their life and identify examples of good practice upholding and promoting dignity.
Understand where to access additional resource to support workforce development in respect of supporting dignity information.
You will also be asked to explore a scenario where dignity is improved in your own workplace.
The full cost will be charged for cancellations with less than two week’s notice.
